Traveling 91 North, take the Kennedy Road/Archer Road exit (exit 39 & 41). Proceed straight onto Archer Road and past the stop sign. Proceed to the Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church Mt. Zion Cemetery & Pine Grove (789T Archer Road) is on the left.

Traveling 91 South, take Center Street Exit (Exit 41). Turn left off the exit (S. Center Street). Turn right onto Archer Road.

1. Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church Mt. Zion Cemetery & Pine Grove (789T Archer Road) is on the right.

Exiting the Archer Mt. Zion cemetery, turn right onto Archer Road. Turn left onto Hayden Station Road.
2. ">Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church (320 Hayden Station Road.) is on the left.
3. William Best House (377 Hayden Station Road.) is on the right. [private property]

Proceed east on Hayden Station Road. Turn right onto Palisado Avenue (Rt. 159) heading south.
4. Joseph Rainey House (299 Palisado Avenue.) is on the right.

Proceed south on Palisado Avenue to the Palisado Cemetery on the right (69 Palisado Avenue).
5. Nancy Toney’s gravesite is at the back of the cemetery. Also, there are three of the African American Civil War veterans buried in this cemetery.

Proceed south on Palisado Avenue. Turn right onto Pleasant Street. Turn right onto East Street.

6. Riverside Cemetery (102 East Street) is on the right where there are six of the known African American Civil War veterans buried. Adjacent to Riverside Cemetery, is the and final stop on the Windsor Freedom Trail; the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery (122 East Street) where the
